UPdate!!!

So the day after I posted those pictures, Irelyn woke up 10x worse than she looked in those pictures!!! Her little face was all swollen, and the hives were much much worse. I was worried that her air way was closing off because she wouldn't eat or drink anything, so I rushed her to the Pediatrician's office only to find out that she had Erythema Multiforme. It's basically her body having an allergic reaction to her allergic reaction to penicillin!!! They had to put her on a super strong antihistamine to bring the swelling down, and a steroid to help with the hives. It took about a week before she finally got rid of all her hives, but thankfully now she's doing much better. IT was so scary!!! I have never been more afraid for one of my kids I completely broke down in the Dr's office. I thought they were going to commit me because no matter what he said I just kept on crying. I think part of it was because I had only gotten about 4 hours of sleep in the last 3 days!!! I'm so thankful that she's feeling better and that she is on the mend. I am so hoping for spring so she will stop getting sick. :)
